My commissions are personalised Poem maps. Getting your hands on one is simple. here’s how…

Pick a map - an area that means something to you. Your own personal history. South London, Glasgow - whatever area it is, i will use this as my canvas.
Pick a colour palette - have a look through my previous work and let me know what blend of colours you like the look of. Or go wild and let me choose for you!
Pick a poem - For the main wording of your map, pick a poem of mine. Short, long, whatever you like. for example, “i love you as surely as the sky breathes the sea”.
Talk to me! - Let me know some interesting facts about you, or the situation and let me freestyle. Words, Drawings, Scribbles, symbols - This is where I get to work my magic. we can talk on the phone, via email or instagram… and then…

£ Variable

This is a very special and highly unique type of Gommie commission.

Here I step into your history and create a completely new poem, just for you.

You pick a map. An area that is of importance to you. the same as the other Commissions… the difference is… I then travel to this area.

I spend one week walking around the area foraging for texture and images.

While I am in the area I communicate with you about your story. If you live near by, we can even meet and I can interview you.

I then get to work on the poem. All based on the Place I am in and the words you have given me - tailored entirely to you.

The final price is entirely dependent on your individual process. It can be drawn up once we have the plan of your commission in place.
